Siu hak (小克) graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University’s School of Design with a BA (Hons). He has since worked as a freelancer in illustration, comics, animation, and script writing. Well known for his comedic flair, Siu Hak often implements funny, witty, and occasionally cheeky storylines and narratives in his comics, objects and songwriting. His lighthearted hand has created charming characters such as Panda-a-Panda and Bit Bit, garnering a large following amongst many in Hong Kong and abroad. The well-received product ranges include various merchandise such as toys, stationery, cushions, phone straps and umbrellas.
In 2004, Siu hak established the comic group “Springrolllll” with Craig Au Yeung, Eric So, Ted Yeung, and Chi Hoi. He has published many popular comic books by himself, including Fake forensic Science series, and the popular websites and online shops for his characters. Siu Hak has also collaborated with many fashion brands such as I.T Group, as well as being commissioned to do large commercial sculpture displays of his characters for the Hong Kong public.
Siu hak is also widely known for his songwriting repertoire, writing lyrics for a number of famous Cantonese pop songs, and has collaborated with many influential cantopop performers including Eason Chan, Joey Yung and Louis Cheung.
